Bullet Journaling: How I'm feeling 3 months into it...

March 11, 2018

At the beginning of the year, after countless YouTube videos about it, I decided to try a bullet journal for the year. Bullet journaling was something I had heard about since 2015 and always saw as something that I could never commit to due to how time-consuming it is. Give it to me to decide to give it a try when I’m back in school just so I have an excuse to procrastinate (not that I really need many excuses).

Favorite Moments in London.....so far

February 25, 2018

Unless you don’t follow me on any sort of social media, you already know that I’ve been living in London for the past five months. I tried coming up with a post about my move and why I did it, but it was never quite right and if you’ve read any of my other posts you already know I’m quite the ranter, so those posts never made any sense. Another reason why I never came around to writing the post was that after Hurricane María it felt wrong to just write a random post and although I haven’t quite addressed that topic yet, I will at some point. At this point, it’s kind of useless to do an “I moved to London” post, but what I can and will do is talk about some special (and some of my favorite) things I have done while I’ve been here. I have been vlogging some of it (I haven’t vlogged in like a month) so if you fancy that type of thing you can watch the videos over on my youtube channel.

Living in London was always a far-fetched dream for me and although I haven’t done quite as much as I’d like, here are some of my top moments so far:

My Visit to Disneyland Paris

January 22, 2018

You can take the girl out of Disney, but you can’t take Disney out of the girl. Last week I got to see Disneyland Paris with my beautiful friend Jordan, from my first DCP. I’m not going to lie, I was kind of weary since everyone here in London has told me that “it sucks”. Now obviously to each their own, but I actually really liked it.

All You Need Is... A Sense of Adventure

When planning out the trip to the UK we knew we wanted to visit Liverpool. There wasn’t a specific reason to begin with, but then we realized it was a good middle point if we wanted to do day trips.

Liverpool actually ended up being one of favorite places we came across. On our first day in the city we spend most our time searching for a place to eat since we arrived late at night, and on that note, why does everything close so early in the UK? I don’t get it.

Edinburgh was a last minute addition to the trip; one I don’t regret one bit. Unfortunately, we only spent around 8 hours in the city, which means we didn’t get to see as much as we would’ve loved but it was well worth it.

I had mentally prepared myself for the fact that it was going to be colder than in Liverpool…my brain was ready, but my body was not. Whether it was actually cold or it was just my Puerto Rican showing, the view incredibly beautiful, from the greenery to every building on sight.

Everyone has that one place you want to visit at some point in your life, although I have a ton of those, London has always been on the top 5. This past March I was very fortunate to go and see such a beautiful city.

Before I share with you my experience and some of the pictures I took, I feel like I need to tell you how the trip came to be. Back in August my friend Krystel sent me some airfare deal and I jokingly sent them to Giovanna, and her response was “let’s do it”. After that it was non-stop planning for six months. We would pay for things every other week until we had everything ready to go.
